Sent my husband the wrong size shoes (luckily they fit anyway), mine were the size I ordered but ended up being too tight. Despite trying them on in the house and sending them back immediately, the company claimed they were ‘worn’ and therefore refused a refund. I had to pay to return them (which took an entire month!) and now I’m stuck with £60 worth of brand new but useless shoes. Avoid unless you’re 100% sure of your sizing.

The Sports Shoes-Hermes team scandalSports Shoes and Hermes team up to offer "...easy, fast and simple" return, for a small fee, with minimal liability, minimal customer service, minimal respect, minimal due care and skill. Just like so many other poor customers of Hermes and Sport Shoes, with the exact same issue, I am a customer who used the Hermes team-scandal service to return my shoes and lo and behold, my box of trainers valued at £430 have disappeared. Hermes doesn't have them. Sports Shoes doesn't have them. Where could they be? Hermes collected them from my house on 20 February 2020 and its the 24 March 2021 and they are still "on their way back". I daren't offer my frustrated opinion as to where they could be but, I suspect they've... You contact both companies and Hermes fob me off with excuse after excuse. Sports shoes hide behind the Hermes terms & conditions saying you signed the T&Cs where the liability for loss is £50. You should have insured your packege sir. The customer is left out of pocket for signing up to harsh terms & conditions. You can't argue with the signing of their T&Cs however, theft or loss is theft and loss. Someone inside this scam is laughing all the way to the bank. WHY DON'T YOU TAKE ACTION Sports Shoes and stop advertising the Hermes "reduce cost home service" - they clearly cant do it respectfully with due skill and care, which is what the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. I have used Sports Shoes since 2016. I have spent thousands over those years. I spent over £1000 in 2020 and close to that in 2021 already. That relationship now ends. Goodbye Sports Shoes, you really are...

Scam and fraud. We have bought some Hoka sneakers and the return for not being the right size has cost us €26. They do not take charge of anything or inform properly. Not recommended!!

Excellent Customer Service! I bought a pair of walking boots from SportsShoes (via Amazon) but they were faulty and developed holes with only a few months of light use. The company responded really quickly when I enquired about returning the boots, checked them thoroughly, and gave me a full refund. Their customer service team is very helpful and always respond very quickly within 2-24 hours on working days. Definitely recommend them and will buy from them again in future.

I ordered a pair of Altra Timp 2’s in October, after less than 150 miles in them one shoe had split down the side. I contacted sportsshoes who sent me a prepaid code to return them via my local Asda for a fault inspection. 3 days later I had an email saying they were faulty and asked if I wanted a new pair or my account credited to buy something else, I elected to try a different shoe altogether and emailed back asking to order them instead, and received my new pair within a few days. Delivery is with Hermes which we have had issues with in the past but this time no problems.

Update: The SportsShoes customer service got in touch with me and sent me a Post label so I could return the shoes that I've bought.I was going to buy a shoes on SportsShoes.com on my size. The website recommended me to buy a smaller sizer than my actual one. I followed their advise. The shoes is too small and it doesn't fit me and now they are asking me to return it and pay for the deliveries fees. Such a lack of care for their customers!

Had ordered a pair of hoka shoes for my dad in India for Christmas, but due to the lockdown the parcel got lost in transit , but sportsshoes.com customer care resend the shoe again without any Extra charge and my dad got the shoe and loves them . Thanks again for the service

Things seem cheap on here but once you factor in the expensive delivery charges and the fact they also charge for returns it's not worth it. There are many competitors who offer both for free, I'd avoid as you usually end up out of pocket without an item

For some bizarre reason- they sent my delivery to a previous address. This despite the two previous orders being sent to the correct address.I tried to phone and email customer services, no response at all. In the end I drove a 40 mile round trip to retrieve the package myself. I don’t actually think there is anyone at all in Customer Services. Very poor service indeed, the worst customer service experience I have every experienced from any company. I will not buy anything from them again.
